Riding 58km through the Rother Valley of the Sussex Weald. We'll ride a loop from Liphook exploring one of the last remaining lowland heath expanses, through woodlands carpeted with bluebells and past picture-book cottages. We'll glimpse the South Downs on this moderately challenging ride. This micro adventure is limited to 12 riders.

The Plan

Getting there

We'll meet inside Waterloo station underneath the giant hanging clock at 8:30 to get the 9:00 train to Liphook.

The route

We'll be riding out of Liphook in a loop through the Rother Valley. We'll stop at Lodsworth Larder, an award-winning community shop built with round wood timberframe, at 25km into the ride to get a few snacks. We'll then stop at a pub about 40km into the ride for some lunch (you're welcome to bring a pack lunch if you wish) and a swift one overlooking the South Downs. Our ride then finishes back in Liphook.

We'll be on quiet country roads for the most part of it. You can see and download the route here.

Getting back

We'll be getting the train back from Liphook to London Waterloo. We'll be getting the 18:36 train back into London, arriving at 19:44.
