A challenging but beautiful 63km ride, looping out from Winchester into the South Downs and back. From King Alfred the Great's old city we'll head out into the countryside along the River Itchen picking up the National Cycle route 23. The ride is full of hill-top Iron Age forts and Saxon churches. Of course we'll be stopping at a pub for a swift one and some grub. This ride is limited to 10 spots.
